Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
Clockout Calls ("we," "us") is operated by Edward Florean, a sole proprietor. We provide an AI phone-answering service for home-service businesses (our "clients"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- From clients: business name, contact name, email address, mobile number, business hours, service area, and anything you share on our sign-up form or by email.
- From people who call our clients: phone number, name, address, the reason for the call, appointment details, and call recordings and transcripts. Callers are told at the start of each call that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded.
- From our website: basic technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and browser type.
How we use information
- To answer calls on our clients' behalf, book appointments, and send call summaries and reports to clients.
- To set up, support and improve our service.
- To communicate with clients about their account.
- To meet legal obligations.
Information collected from callers is processed on behalf of the client whose line they called, and is shared with that client.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, we send text messages with call summaries and account notifications to the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of using our service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With the client whose phone line a caller reached.
- With service providers that help us run the service, such as telephony, AI voice, scheduling, email and hosting providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our clients, callers, or us.
How long we keep information
We keep client account information while the account is active. We keep call recordings, transcripts and summaries for as long as the client relationship requires, or as the client directs, and then delete them. We may keep limited records longer when the law requires it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing us. If you called one of our clients, we may refer your request to that client.
Children
Our service is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
